Steven Dinn was a local Animal Control official in River's Edge when the town was infested with diseased rodents. He stated that he and a crew consisting of 13 other workers had been on the job for two days. In a press conference he said that the animals were emaciated and the problem would not last the week, but also expressed concern in a possible increase in rabies transmission. He was quoted in an article by the River's Edge Dispatch.
